PTPTN

The PTPTN Education Financing Scheme was established to provide education financing to Malaysian students pursuing studies at local institutions of higher education. This education financing will enable students to partially finance their tuition fees for the duration of their study.

Eligibility
Applicants must:

• Hold a Malaysian citizenship;

• Not more than 45 years on the date of application;

• Enrolled in a Private Tertiary Education Institution (IPTS) that offers a full-time degree or diploma course that is approved by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) and Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA);

• Meet the entry requirements set by the MOHE & MQA;

• Balance of study upon application must not be less than one year;

• No other sponsor

All students must complete the Online Registration Form.

Submit by post the Online Registration Form and the following documents to the Student Enrolment Centre:

• A certified true copy of actual / forecast / trial examination results. For instance: SPM / 'O'- Levels, STPM / A-Levels, UEC, SAM, CPU or other equivalent qualifications.

• For exemption purposes - Diploma students (completed or currently still studying) must provide a certified transcript and Diploma Certificate (if applicable), together with the course syllabus.

• A photocopy of your Identification Card (IC), both sides.

• Three (3) copies of passport-size colour photograph.

• Other supporting documents for your application (if any), eg. TOEFL, IELTS, MUET etc.

• A crossed cheque or bankdraft or Telegraphic Transfer (TT) for registration should be made payable to MICOST. The Registration Fees are as follows:

For payment made by TT, you are required to fax your full name and contact number to the Student Enrolment Centre for our onwards action. The fax numbers are as follows:

Response From MICOST

Students will be notified upon receipt of documents or / and payment.

The Letter of Acceptance will be issued and sent (for completed documents only) to students within two weeks of the processing date for the application. Applicants submitting insufficient documents will be informed of further materials needed to facilitate the process.
