DIPLOMA IN PHARMACY ( UITM )
This program is a collaborative program conducted with UiTM. This program provides graduates with knowledge, understanding and skills in the field of preparation and dispensing of medicines. This knowledge and skills can be used in pharmaceutical care under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist. There is now a high demand for Pharmacy Assistant positions in government, private hospitals and the pharmaceutical industry as a whole. The career path in this field is wide, especially focusing on medicine. Qualified Pharmacy graduates can apply to continue their studies in the field of healthcare in this country. Qualified Pharmacy graduates can apply to continue their studies at the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honors) level.
Graduates will be well equipped to seek a career as a:
Assistant Pharmacy Officer (Hospital, Government Clinic)
Pharmacy Assistant (Private Hospital, Retail)
Assistant Pharmacy Enforcement Officer
Laboratory Assistant (Dispensing Laboratory)
With further studies and advanced training, graduates can qualify to be Pharmacist, Medical Research, Medical Engineer and other higher career prospects.
