1) Program Details

The programme of Diploma in Business Studies provides a good background of business facts and knowledge and prepares students for the Bachelor programme in the various specialized field of business. These wide ranges of business courses provide students with a strong basis in facing the various facets of business challenges. It aims to produce graduates who knowledgeable and practically competent in business and management discipline in-line with the organisational requirements.

2) Entry Requirement

PASS Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) / O- Level with at least THREE (3) credits in any subjects.

OR

Any other qualifications that are recognized by the Malaysian Government.

Students will be exposed to working experience in their related field for at least 3 months at well-established organization.  This may help the students to increase the knowledge through job trainings and strengthen their soft skills such as self-confidence, teamwork, leadership and etc. Students will also experience real entrepreneur activities and others activities which expose students to the community.

5) Pathway to Further Study

Holders of this diploma further their studies at any local or foreign universities (with transfer credit where applicable)

6) Career Prospect

After completing Diploma in Business Studies, the students may explore a number of career options including owning, operating and managing their own business, working with commercial or industrial firms, or service companies and government agencies. Besides the major sector such as marketing, finance and business development, the students may also pursue their careers in the supporting services business area such as facility management, operation management, supplier management and inventories management.
